Because I was very impatient to go to the beach, I decided to go to Maravilla Beach Resort and forced my boyfriend to come with me. Lol! The beach resort is located in the town of Tabuelan, northern part of Cebu.
It was an unexpected and spontaneous trip. The night before the
trip, I was scrolling through my facebook feed and saw pictures the resort. I googled it and tada! By the morning we went straight
there.
The white sand beach is refreshing and the place is truly
instagrammable 😂
Going to Maravilla Beach Resort won't cost you a lot of
money. If you have P500-P700 in your pocket, then you're good to go!
Here's my budget itinerary:
Ride a jeepney from Emall to North bus terminal (Fare P10.00)
Ride a bus bound for Tabuelan-Tuburan. In our case, since we
arrived late, the bus that we have ridden departed at 9 AM (Fare P109.00
Non-aircon)
After 3 to almost 4 hours of traveling, we were dropped at
Tabuelan Public Market.
From there, we took a motorcycle going to Maravilla Beach Resort
(Fare P40.00)
The beach has NO ENTRANCE FEE! 👌
You can choose to rent a cottage that costs P300.00 for day use
and P500.00 for overnight use or a tent that will only costs P250.00 per tent.
Carenderias are available near the beach so there's no need to
worry where to eat lunch or dinner (Meal P70-100)
We decided for a day trip so at around 5pm, we packed our things
and went back to the bus stop. This time, we took an aircon bus bound to Cebu
North Bus Terminal (Fare P126.00)
ALWAYS REMEMBER: Bring snacks and water so you won't get too
hungry or thirsty during the bus ride.
