So for 4 months, what have I been doing? What's making me busy this quarantine? How did I cope up with the pandemic? Have I learned new things?
Luckily, the company I worked with allowed us to work from home. From 7am to 4pm on weekdays, I sit on my chair and face the computer to do my job. To be honest, I am liking this setup. There's no need for me to wake up too early to travel an hour to go to the office and I can even sleep in my bed during breaks. The only thing I hate about it is missing my friends.
After my working hours, that's when I stare at the ceiling thinking what I am going to do with the rest of my day. Have you ever tried googling "Things to do when bored at home" or "List of hobbies and interest"? I have. I have come to a point where I don't know what to do anymore.
In the first few months, I was very adaptive to change. I was able to learn new things such a doing makeup, cooking, and dyeing my hair. I was also able to edit my blog, plan a trip next year, look for a new house, do online shopping, and watch a lot of movies and tv series.
However, this past week I feel so empty, so tired, so sad that I have no interest at all in doing anything. Every day has been boring. All I do is scroll my phone until I go to sleep. I am being so lazy and unproductive. Anyone else experiencing this?
When I googled a list of hobbies and interests, I found baking, sewing, and flower arranging into my liking but the problem now here is I don't have all the right equipment and it requires a lot of money to buy one. One person said that you have to invest in your hobbies or you'll be bored forever or for a while. Well, he was right. But I just can't help it. I don't want to spend more money. Lol.
I just want this pandemic to be over so I could go out and travel again.
If you are going through something in these difficult times, I want you to know that you are not alone. We can surpass this and let's just pray that it will be over soon. I am not good at cheering people up but please know that I wish the best for everyone.
Anyway, thanks for reading my sentiments. I hope you are all well and healthy. If you want to share your experience, feel free to comment.
Til next time.
