Dahican Beach, Mati + A night in Davao City
Dahican
beach, also called as the Skim boarding Capital of the Philippines, is situated
in the city of Mati, Davao Oriental. Surrounded with tall coconut trees, the
beach is well-known for its soft white sand and crazy waves that would surely
make you enjoy surfing or skim boarding.
Dahican
beach is a 4 hour drive from Davao Airport (Francisco Bangoy International
Airport), there are public vans and buses that will take you there. Visiting
the beach is quite a long journey but along the way you could see an
eye-catching mountain called The Sleeping Dinosaur.
My family and I arrived at Dahican Beach around 3pm, we paid an entrance fee of 20 pesos each
at Amihan sa Dahican resort. The resort offers skim board and surfboard rentals
for 500 pesos per hour with a tutor.
I
did not try surfing or skim boarding as we only had limited time, however I was
able to enjoy the powerful splash of the seawater on my skin.

EVENING IN DAVAO
My cousins and I strolled the city of Davao at night and I was amazed by the beauty of it. We went to some of the famous places in the city and ate at a Japenese restaurant.
